Distillation (2011) is a three-dimensional visualization of soprano repertoire, a sound progress, a permission to let your musical imagination free. It is a one-hour musical journey based on a few-second-long train of thought. It zooms in on emotions evoked by romantic vocal music. An unusual look at soprano repertoire.

Fleurville is a collective of mainly classically trained musicians who are interested in taking classical (soprano) repertoire, the music they decided to dedicate their lives to, to a new extent. Never losing the focus on the beauty of these old compositions they let the musical influences of modern days rearrange the music and as such bring these harmonies and melodies to a new age. True classical music grows into tunes that sometimes have been rearranged as pop music, sometimes turn into free improvisation. All while putting an emphasis on modernizing the musical stage presence by physically performing and staging the music and as such moving away from the traditional Lied setting.
